AT&T Users

If this is in the wrong forum, apologies in advance..

But I'm thinking about getting a second AT&T phone to add to my iPhone. The second phone would be used for tethering to my laptop.

What's the best phone for this? Will I get 3G speeds? I'm in Washington DC if that helps.

I was under the impression that the iPhone couldn't be tethered...correct me if I'm wrong.

Might I suggest the RAZR Maxx. You could get a 3G card for the comptuer for <$50 with service.

Thanks guys for your responses. my first phone was with sprint and that contract conveniently ended right when i bought the iphone.

i used to tether with the sprint phone but i'd rather just move to AT&T since i have the iphone now.
