I'd be with T mobile right now if they weren't such idiots. The lack of customer service and follow through with this whole iPhone 6 launch was terrible. I ended up buying two att device only phones from the apple store directly and just sticking with my cricket plan...oh well, too bad for you t mobile. Nice thing about cricket, the prices all include the taxes and fees, which the others all tack on. $90 per month total for 2 lines...Can't beat it for the outstanding coverage.

There is another option on T-Mobile called the "Simple Starter Plan"

This has Unlimited Talk+Text and comes with 500GB of LTE data for $40 but you can add $5 to increase the data to 2GB which is well within your average usage for just $45 a month.

There are 3 limitations of this plan, however, compared to the regular "Simple Choice Plan":
1) Streaming music will be counted against your data pool
2) It does not have the international benefits (i.e. "Unlimited international data & text in 120+ countries and destinations PLUS unlimited international texting from the U.S. to virtually anywhere")
3) After 2GB data you are cut off (instead of being throttled)

However, if you are strictly domestic user (and willing to buy Prepaid simcard while traveling overseas to use with your UNLOCKED iPhone), then I think this deal is one of the best out there. Most people do not go over 2GB data anyway.

I would love to switch to T-Mobile to reward them for all they are doing to shake up the industry. Unfortunately, their lack of coverage continues to be the sticking point for me. I've gotten so used to streaming music while I drive, that if I couldn't do it for miles at a time on a road trip I would be really annoyed. I can't remember the last time AT&T dropped out when streaming on major highways for me, but I've heard it happens somewhat frequently with T-Mobile.

Another plus for T-Mobile is the unlimited unthrottled data if you are referred by a T-Mobile customer.

for 7 years i stayed with att and for the first time i've considered to switch to t mobile for all the features they include with the unlimited plan plus it's cheaper my concern with them is coverage... i'm willing to risk it because of wifi calling and lte signal booster options they provide. with att i still get 1 and 2 bars in my home and still get dropped calls not as bad as it used to be but they had all this time to improve my area and still haven't.

I get great coverage with AT&T, the unknown is the coverage if switch to T-mobile. I'm going to do the T-mobiles Test & Drive programs to check. Also going to test cricket at the same time.

After 7 years with TMO, I finally switched to ATT. TMO is good for the price but ATT has better coverage.
