Carrier AT&T website preorder time?

To anyone here that has preordered their phones via AT&T's website in the past,

1. What time in the past has the PO gone live? Same as Apple, or later Friday morning?
2. How fast has shipping been?

I unfortunately need to go this route as I need to switch my plan to AT&T Next. Rats.

I would log on to their site about 15 minutes before pre orders begin. Back when the 6 and 6+ went on sale the AT&T site started taking orders about 10 minutes early. Not sure if the same happened for the (s) models?

Good insight! I was around for the 6+ preorder and remember AT&T's site timing out for me.

Can you order a phone on the AT&T Next program via Apple's site, or does that need to be done directly through AT&T?
