AT&T WiFi Calling on Unlocked iPhone

Does anyone know if Wifi Calling on AT&T works on unlocked versions of the iPhone (6s or 7 specifically)? Or do you have to have the AT&T model?

Looking to purchase a used phone. Would prefer unlocked, but would rather have WiFi calling capabilities. Info on the web is from AT&T first launched Wifi Calling and VoLTE or unclear.

I purchased two unlocked/full price iPhone 7+'s, one for Sprint and another for Verizon. Both fully support wifi calling, VoLTE, and HD Voice on AT&T 🙂

Yes, it will work.
Its a carrier setting so as soon as you put the AT&T sim inside the unlocked iphone that supports wifi calling on that network the correct carrier settings will be installed on the device and wifi calling will become available.
