This does not sound right at all. I don't have any orders available to verify, but I would wager you are wrong. AppleCare+ coverage for the iPhone 6S should not start before release day. That sounds like it would be setting up Apple for a huge class action suit for millions of people that were denied coverage when they didn't even own the phone.

In my experience Apple has had no problem accepting returns and warranty exchanges that were a few, if not several, days out of warranty or the return period.

This is how it's been for my past orders. Maybe your experience is different.

Yes. Free money.

I am using my S6 now and not under any contract and have been paying $15/month on this line. The whole point of getting the 6s is to use/try out the new phone. Why should I pay $40 for not having/using the iphone 6s.

The difference in the amount is not much. It's about the fairness.

don't do a 2yr contract if you're on a Mobile share plan that charges you 15 per month

If you do a 2yr contract your MRC (monthly reoccurring charge goes up by $25 for 24 months) so for 24 months you're paying $600 more plus your price of the iphone example my phone 6s+ 128gb
950.

2yr contract price would be 499.99
plus the $600 more for those 24 months increased by $25.
plus the upgrade fee of $45.
= 1,144.99
for a phone that cost 949.99 you will be overpaying 194.99.

i can do an excel sheet if you like, g2g 2 class.
