Having filled all your slots isn't an excuse not to expand the system. Haven't you heard about PCIe expansion chassis? Professionals use them to install all sorts of gadgets, varying from pro audio equipment to video cards. Perhaps it's time you invested in one, or a few?

…or I could just continue hoping that ATi and nVidia will stop pissing on the Mac market and might actually offer up to date cards.

Though a solution, it's very expensive. :(
The EB4 model is listed at $2399USD.

But at least it's Mac compatible. :p

I think "expensive" only applies to people who'd can either do without or money is no object... They used to make them in the ole NuBus format, where recording studios would install every single bit of protools to create the ultimate multi-channel midi and digital hard-disk recorder!! Back then, they also cost equally as much as a PowerMac.

Personally, I'd have absolutely no uses for such a solution but it's there should anyone fancy one.

Imagine what you could do on the Mac if you was to attach 4 of those boxes and installed high-end videocards in each slot and dual 30" TFT's god, one could build a home with all the power bricks and have his or her very own video tunnel.
