Ati 4890 - Mac Pro 2008 : Great Problem !! Please Help me...

Hi everybody

I just installed a new Sapphire 4890 in a 2008 MacPro with Leopard 10.5.7

I had a Nvidia 8800GT mac version.
Before to install the new 4890 I installed the new Netkas injector, then I shut down the mac
I installed the new 4890, restart mac, but all 2 monitors are black, and the 4890 fan is going maximum speed.

What can I do?

Did I forgotten something?

Do you still have the 8800 installed in the 4th PCI slot? If so just connect a monitor to it, and boot and see what you can do. If you need instructions on how to get it working, look for the thread by Cindori, it tells you exactly what you have to do. And yes theres more than just the injector that needs installation.

So now I have to uninstall the package or can I reinstall the older package plus other file?

When you install the Sapphire 4890, you can only use 1 screen instead of 2 in osx.

I always unplug my second screen, and then it boots fine.

So for now you can only use 1 screen on the 4890
