Issue with history is fixed. I can now delete history!

Like the subtle GUI tweaks...keep them coming.;)

Mines doesn't even load now - just sits with a darkened screen with a lighter patch in the middle (don't know how to describe it) - then drops out of atomic browser.
might try uninstalling and re-installing the app

If you zoom in to a website then reload that page it goes back to the original font size. It doesn't keep the zoomed in page when you reload like Safari. Any way around this?

I had that problem too. I had to delete the app and re-install of course losing all my bookmarks in the process.

I had been trying to change the start page to bookmarks when this happened to me.

yup. same exact thing happened to me. but other than losing everything in my history and all my bookmarks because I had to reinstall it, this is a great app. lol

Maybee I'm missing something, but a behavior in atomic browser is driving me crazy. When I close a tab, it moves backwards to your previous tab, is there any way to get it to move forward to your next tab when you close the current tab? When reading forums I usually open a bunch of tabs and I like to start with the first one I opened and read to the oldest. Thanks.

I haven't had any crashes with my Atomic browser and think version 2.9 is a nice improvement. It seems to handle imported bookmarks better than earlier versions did.

Speaking of bookmarks, has anybody been able to add the currently open Web page as a bookmark without having to manually enter the URL? If anyone has figured out a way to do so, please let me in on the secret.

The instability of Atomic is why I've uninstalled it and use iCab exclusively. Maybe I'll go back to it once they smooth things out.

I replaced atomic for icab mobile last week and it's been great - great for power users. Icab's latest update fixes all quirks and adds a tab bar. Atomic's non conforming interface + unpolished functionality put me off.

Icab has a bookmark bar with support for folders and you can tweak almost all of it's features to your liking.

I was not familiar with iCab before seeing it mentioned in this thread. All I can say is Wow. I thought I was impressed with Atomic, but after using iCab there is no doubt but that iCab is orders of magnitude better than Atomic!

Unlike some in this thread I am suspicious of, I am not affiliated with either one.

This is one main reason I switched to iCab. iCab has a better UI and has never crashed compared to AB.

Hotmail now defaults to mobile????

Ab keeps crapping out on me...especially when I go to 5 tabs...although I am still on the free version...so probably not fair trial. I am still trying out stuff..so no sense in paying for it and I don't want it two weels from now. There are reason to still like safari.

But about iCal...does it stay backgrounded better?

Also, hotmail defaulted to mobile version today. It has been perfect since apple mail doesn't work with a hoot with hotmail. Anybody else have the problem?

I'm still having issues when I try to respond to posts with quotes from another post. It will not let me do it. I get a grayed out box that will not let me add my text to the response.

Any one else seeing this?

+1:)

I have a request. I am becoming a big ever note user and ever note puts a thing in safari where you can just press the little arrow button and it gives an option to save the clip to ever note. Is there anyway we can get that integrated into atomic?

Actually yes I have now that I think about it. I normally just put click in another box (ie title) and then press next.

Yep - that's when it did it to me as well.

you icab users, are you noticing a page redirect back to icabs website when you do google searches?

can anyone explain what is being done with the data, is it being saved on remote servers like opera?
Yes, and it's really annoying.

How do I see if this is happening on my setup?
