I've searched the forum, and I've been unable to find an answer to my little problem. I have an AVI file ripped from a DVD that uses the ATSC A/52 codec. I know this because I can open the file inside Quicktime, but the sound is broken. Not mute, but squeaky, static, etc. I can open the file in VLC without issue.

Has anyone had any success with opening a file like this in Quicktime? I want to be able to use it with Front Row. I have many other codecs installed already including: A52Codec.component, AC3Codec.component, Perian, and XviD_codec-r58.
