Everybody is amazed by this deal, but... I read that you have to have the top tier unlimited plan ($75) on each line you want that deal on. You can’t have the $60/$65 unlimited plan to qualify for this deal. Which will screw alot of people I assume.
Anybody else see this?

Wow, this is expected - I thought how can a carrier afford this - now I know why.

My monthly did not change - $25 / month for unlimited service.

Even though I got a measly $350 trade in on my 11 that I got last year (50% value) thru Apple store and then a $150 loyalty from T Mobile.

I used the Apple Card this time to finance at 0% for 24 months which will be paid off in a year for the next upcoming model...

I'm quite happy not to have 30 months of EIP bill credits thru the carrier.

there is no $75 plan if you have multiple lines

$75 for a new customer before discounts is unlimited extra. The middle tier.
I’m assuming that means you need that one at minimum if you are new

if you are existing you just need one of the three unlimited plans. I believe any will qualify

they wanna make sure if you’re moving to att they’re getting their subsidy back

If it is true it’s BS, cause I was going to do this for my daughter but I was only going to give her the $60 plan. Now I don’t know what to do! She currently has the 8+ which I am getting credits for on the last deal we did 2 years ago. So I have to pay that off just to get this deal. I want to do some more digging cause this will make it so a lot of people can’t get this.

I personally wouldn’t moveto a new carrier for a phone deal anyways

I know people do all the time but look for the one that suits your needs coverage and price wise and then secondarily pursue deals

especially if it’s for a kid, the xr and 11 non pro are looking like steals

they may not be happy it’s not the top of the line but hey if I was a kid I’d be thrilled with those two options

i was lucky tO have a fun W810i and k790a in high school lol. And a flip phone for emergencies at the end of middle school

New lines need the $75 plan I believe. Current customers upgrading just need one of the new plans for the deal. Its oddly worded but I think this is correct.

there is a $75 one, it’s their top tier unlimited plan they just came out with. Their new unlimited plans are by the line Onl, no more sharing and their is $75/$65/$60 is the options.

Move the slider to one line and you’ll see what I’m referring to

Ok so here is the wording. You just never know with these shady bastards and their wordings of things.

So I am currently in a device promo for my daughters 8 plus which we get for free. We still owe ($120) on it cause it’s only been 24 months but it’s worth it to pay that off and trade it in and get this...

I wonder how picky they will be by the condition of a phone and how much in credits you will really get.

When I was in high school (mid 1970s) I had a dime in my pocket in the event I needed to use a pay phone. I was thrilled ;)

Precisely. We had 2 phones on phone bill reimbursement at TMobile and we switched early to a lot better deal at visible and left $200+ on the table. 30 months is a looooong commitment.

We’ve been with AT&T for like 25 years. It’s not a long commitment if you’re staying with same carrier.

Plus we have a 5 line voice with great discounts and loyalty bonuses. We pay $150 with taxes and fees a month for 5 lines unlimited everything.

You and I are in the same age group, lol. There wasn’t even caller id or call waiting yet on landlines. And we all had telephone directories! Most people didn’t own a microwave and nobody I knew had a video camera. The first ones were huge!

Here is the real question. In what kind of condition does it need to be in for you to get the full $800. They could say oh a Knick on it. You get $700
