Just updated the carrier from AT&T 18.0 to 18.1.

Applejuiced macrumors Westmere Dec 17, 2014 #4 Yes, carrier updates do not effect JB ability. They're just small .ipcc files that contain various carrier settings pertaining to voice mail, MMS and SMS, Personal Hotspot, APN settings, and other network-specific preferences.
