Thats a bit odd. But gives positive hopes for me! I really really hope it ships today or tomorrow!!
My white 16gb i ordered on 9/21 has been off of BO for around 24 hours with no shipping updates. My black 16gb ordered on the same day had shipping info within about 4 hours of being off BO (it went off BO on Monday and arrived yesterday). I'm a little surprised it hasn't shipped yet. I was hoping it would be here tomorrow, but it looks like I may not get it until Saturday unless things change really fast.
Me too key 1992. We got the Black one yesterday.... My white one is still BO. I want to scream.
OK, so my hissy fit worked..... I'M OFF BACK ORDER!

Is there any kind of text notification when the phone ships? Think I may have heard that, but I'm not sure.

I ordered at 5pm on 9/21, but the order status said it was ordered 9/22. So I don't know what time it went through on 9/22.
Received Shipping Info via order status page exactly 24 hrs after it came off BO!!

Just reading through the posts, looks like I have another week or two before I get my new phone. :-( It amazes me that neither Apple nor the cellular providers were prepared for the demand...they had to have known this would be historic given the fact that this is from Apple. My first time buying an iPhone, so not quite sure what the "golden rules" are with ordering these things. So incredibly anxious...already have my case and other tidbits...now more of the waiting game.
