Oh man...I would have already BEEN on 121...last night!!!!!
You will get your phone today....not to worry. And a word of wisdom...you had better be listening out for them. I worked from home when I lived in Grapevine (...a rock's throw from Dallas) and those UPS people do not wait...they knock ONCE, mayyyyybe twice and by the time you open the door, all you see is the license plate of the truck!!!!! I had to chase them TWICE for a computer order and other business-related deliveries...don't make coffee, don't brush your teeth (eeeewww...lol), just sit staring at the door. <---that was me when my company sent two 23" displays and I answered the door MID-knock...scared the UPS person to death!!! Enjoy the weekend with your new phone! Ordered 10/2 AM in AT&T store. Now off Back Order. No tracking number yet.

They are probably holding back the 32GB's until they get ahead with the 16GB's. We will see our 32GB orders flying too! *fingers crossed for good news today*
Doesn't make sense why they'd purposely hold back just the 32's. An order is an order, so it should be first-come-first-served regardless of the capacity. I would lean more towards the assumption that demand for the 32's is simply exceeding the supply.
I've been told by a few reps to expect no delays as far as when it comes to the 32GBs, they will "definitely" be out within the given shipping window.

Do we know how long that usually takes? I've never ordered a close to launch day phone before.
So the 16GB white order shipped already and is due in Monday. My 32GB black is still on backorder. AT&T swears it will be shipped within the timeframe, so I assume it will ship out Wednesday of next week, since that's the last day in my window.
Who does it usually ship with? I'm hoping fed ex because ups doesn't get to my house until 8-10pm

I am not sure. My iPhone 4 shipped Fedex 2 years ago but from what I am reading it does look like they are using UPS.
Hi there...I know, none of this makes sense, really. It has been a virtual see-saw with orders coming off of backorder. The 32's have become flies in molasses just like the 16's were initially. Whether they are purposely doing it or not, who knows...just seems weird how now the tables have turned and the 32's are on BO and the 16's are moving really fast. We will all be happy campers when we go to the order status site and see that we're off the dreaded backorder!

I guess the 32gbs are moving at 9/28 now. At this rate mine will ship by the end of next week.

Oh yeahhhhh....first 9/30 order I have seen in a long time to go off of BO! Maybe mine will be off BO today too *fingers and toes crossed*...ordered 32GB black on 9/30, 5pm at ATT store. Enjoy your phone!
I didn't know this thread existed until last week but I have been lurking. I'm a really patient person but I started to wonder where the hell my phone was because alot of friends were getting their phones already either in-store or online, but I come and find that there are alot of us in this same "support group" still waiting lol so it made me feel a little better, eventhough this thread probably made me more anxious
Anyway, Today, I received awesome news that my 16gb black ordered on 10/2 had been shipped as of 9:15AM. Woo hoo. Only took 24 days...
