ATT iPhone 5 Pre-order thread

Wow just more, and more pissed off... so the 10/6's are shipping but my 32gb black order on 10/2 cant even come off of bo?

i thought it was first come first serve. Also why would att not want to fulfill the 32gb orders. Att makes more money off of them so why would they not fulfill them. I am every upset, considering i could have ordered a full week later and still gotten it before im going to get mine.

Damn, calm down fam... Coming to light this forum up every page isn't going to make your wait any shorter. So what if you have to wait a few extra days... just be patient, you'll get yours, and months from now you won't even care.

I understand that but if i post it im aiming to get soome one with a black 32gb to respond. Yes lol i have realized that in a few months i wont care, however 1 month is a long wait time, no matter hoiw you look at it.

Can anyone that has recently come off bo with a black 32gb respond? have any 10/1 orders come off bo?

The latest 32 to come off is a 9/30... Just look through a few more posts, it isn't more than a page or 2 back.

9/30 is the latest. It is a little irritating that 10/6 16gb orders are shipping now... in fact it is really irritation... my 10/1 is still on BO as of tonight
 
Won't be surprised if you 10/1's wake up to a 0 under Qty Backordered, if not definitely by Monday. I'll probably be free Wednesdayish

We'll see. It's clear Apple sent a huge shipment of 16gb orders to AT&T today considering the 9/30 - 10/6 orders have ALL come off BO today. That's a whole week's worth! I'm just afraid we won't see any movement of the 32s till Monday.

We got from 9/28 to 30 yesterday/today though, no? and that's just from this forum, where there don't even seem to be that many 32 owners.

Yeah. Well I am a 10/1 and still on BO, so I think that's as far as they went today. I hope tomorrow we will see further movement.... at least one can only hope.
 
Is there any way to track a Premier on AT&T's regular website? I've tried the order number and my home phone number I had on the order but neither worked.

I ordered a black 64GB iPhone 5, hope they're still shipping really fast. Stupid AT&T delayed my order by a day to 'verify my identity' which I had to call them more than eight times to do.
 
Mine has been sitting at an arrival scan at DFW airport on Texas since 12:05 AM on 10/26/12. Been over 24 hours now. Should I be concerned?
 
Mine shipped but no delivery date, sitting at DFW airport as well. 2 32gb black ordered 9/28 hoping to have them by Monday!
 
Finally off BO!! Happened some time between 6pm yesterday and 6am today

Ordered 32GB Blk on 10/1 in store @ 9am

Saturday now so no shipping info.

Hallelujah - Finally an October 32 Blk. Maybe, just maybe, they'll get to my 10/2 order by the end of the day. Probably a good thing I'll be busy all day with fall festival and trunk'or'treat activities for the kids or I'd be checking the status page every 2 minutes. COME ON 10/2's.
 
Still not shipped

16GB Black Phone ordered 10/2 Came of Back Order but has not shipped. Interesting. I guess they thought torturing us for three weeks just wasn't enough. :rolleyes:
 
Do orders ship on Saturday? I know they won't deliver on Saturdays, but I'm wondering since mine didn't ship out yesterday if I have to wait till Monday for it to ship now. :(

Received e-mail today that my White 16gig iPhone shipped and was provided a tracking number, ETA is Monday and as some have stated here UPS is only delivering iPhones Monday-Friday, no Saturday delivery.

After getting e-mail I checked the order page for the 2 black 32gigs and they still show on back order.

UPDATE:

10/1 Orders

White 16G iPhone (Shipped Thursday)

Still showing ETA of Monday, has left DFW and is now in Philly.


2 Black 32G iPhones

No longer show on back order on the order status page though I have no shipping info yet. They must have come off back order last night. I suspect they will not get tracking number or shipment until Monday due to it being a weekend. If they ship Monday I should get them by Wednesday.

Will not order from AT&T for Apple phones ever again, I usually go through Apple direct but because I had to change my plan to a family plan and add an additional line I figured it would be easier to do it all through AT&T. If I had gone through Apple I would have had phones weeks ago as local Apple store has had limited but consistent temporary stock throughout the whole month.
 
Finally, it has happened to me....

*CeCe Peniston playing in the background....* ...some time between last night and 11a.m. this morning my 9/30 order for a black 32gb went off of BO! :) No shipping info yet, but I am confident that it will be in hand Monday for a Tuesday/Wednesday delivery! Stoked, but still incredibly anxious because I still don't have my phone!

My order timeline:

9/30- placed order in ATT store

10/1- processing

10/5- went into backorder status

10/26 or 10/27- went off of BO

This has got to be the worst order experience I have ever had. Next time, if I am sold on this iPhone thing (...1st ever Apple product for me), then I will hunt until I find one that I can just walk out of the store with it in my grubby little hands!!! ;) The waiting a month thing is for the birds! As far as "initiation processes" go, I'd rather just have the dirty boot full of beer, guzzle, guzzle, choke, choke, done...thank you! :p
