ATT needs to pay more attention to Speed, Seems like they've fallen behind both in the City and Rural.

Every mobile provider has dead spots so thats hard to rate. Lets see what the reports say when thay come out.

Bottomline: Use the service that worksbest where you use your cellphone!

Coverage is more important than speed. Once you get more than a few MBs, there's not much to gain on a mobile device.

I agree, but for me I use the mobile hotspot at home since I live in a rural area, so everything I do online goes through my mobile carrier.

The problem is if you get just a few megs normally, if there is ever an increase in traffic like an event nearby, performance will be basically unusable.

I have had AT&T since they were also Cingular. However, my experience has always been great in billing, and service.

I've had at&t the same times. Not taking sides, however I've never had an issue with them. The big thing with stuff like this is location, location, location. Different carriers are better in different geographic areas. You should go with the provider best in your area. All the fragmentation is from the convoluted, screwed up cellular system in the US. :apple:

I definitely get that. My issue randomly started, was confirmed as a problem by AT&T, and then was never resolved. It’s been over two months and people I’ve been talking to are still having the issues.

So I went to VZW today pretty much ready to sign up. I’ll didn’t realize that after 15GB they throttle your speed to 3G. So now I’m not sure about switching. I like that ATT onkybthrottles in congested areas at busy times, I’ve never actually seen my speeds throttled at all
