the employees are night and day between the 2 stores... thats why I tell people you really need to get lucky with the store you go to and the blue shirt you speak with, and more importantly, the on-site manager at the particular shift...

The employees at the Soho store are horrible. I took my defective 6 back to the Soho store to process a return and I was told that I can't return it because it was purchased online. The employee said that she could take the phone back, but she couldn't give me any receipt for the return. She stated that the system shows that I made a $0 purchase because it was bought via NEXT. Mind you, I paid $70 in taxes. I've never heard such nonsense in my life! Even though the website states that online purchases have to be mailed back for return, the phone reps all say that it can be done in-store. I would never go back to the Soho location again.

I tried to do this at my local Apple Store and was told that since it was an online order, it would have to be "reclassified" and therefore cannot be resold to me. So either, I return the phone and leave empty handed (and who knows when ill find another 6+, took over a month) or walk away with the 2-year contract.

Side note: Is it possible to pay the ETF now and get rid of the 2 year contract and go back to the reduced monthly fee for my line on the Mobile Share Plan?

I believe it's possible but you'd have to do it through the retentions department.

That is BS... Don't know what is wrong with the people working there; and I love how the managers won't talk to you directly at first, telling his underling everything before having said lapdog relay everything to the customer... Very poor managers at the Soho location...

Avoid it like the plague... Make the trip to the flagship store on Fufth Avenue, it's worth it...

Funny thing is Apple is suppose to be all about "customer service".
