Beginning Sunday Nov 2nd, AT&T customers will be able to get 3GB of data for $40 a month or 6GB for $70 a month on a Mobile Value Plan. Previously, the deal was 2GB for $40 a month and 4GB for $70 a month.

My BIL has the 2gb MVP on an individual line. I think he will be happy to switch to the 3gb for the same price. Everyone should just do the math and see if it benefits them or not.

Not necessary to switch. These are not really new plans. They just increased the data caps for some of the existing plans. Current subscribers should be automatically upgraded. This was also on the front page.

Thanks! Sorry, didn't see that article. I just read some of the posts and they are saying that it is not an auto update and you manually have to switch it.
