I saw yesterday the carriers starting offering , so I selected the 12.9 256 space black and my delivery date is 11/9-11/16. Who else went the att preorder route? Let’s track it.

I went the AT&T preorder route as well! 12.9 256 GB Space Grey. Delivery date is also 11/9 - 11/16. Hopefully sooner than 11/9 though.
64GB SG 12.9. Still processing with a 11/8-11/15 delivery date. The orders should proceed like ordering phones through AT&T. They probably won't ship directly from China but from AT&T's warehouse in Kentucky.
AT&T orders a few pallets (or whatever number based on orders) from Apple and those come from China directly to their warehouse in Kentucky. That's when the device is matched to your order and boxed for shipping. The shipping label may not be created until 48 hours before it actually arrives on delivery day. AT&T orders for me have always been arrived by FedEx.
So don't stress too much if it sits "In Progress" for another few days (or flips to 'Back Ordered' - their system is not as finely detailed as Apple's) before you get shipping information.

I got the same delivery window was you on both my orders. My AT&T orders usually come to me overnight from Fort Worth though.
I ordered mine right when they flipped the switch and it said 11/8. Don't know if this is a particular quirk for AT&T or its really that window.
When did it go live? I looked I think Thursday night and they were there and I ordered!
I think it went live at midnight Eastern on 11/1. I ordered between 9:20 - 9:30 pm Pacific.
Yeah midnight EST. I was actually chatting with an agent to ask when they would show up when I found it and she said she was about to send me the link. It was around 10pm MST and I mentioned that I'd heard it was going to be available for order 11/1 but that it was still October in Denver

Maybe they are just padding it a bit because AT&T probably doesn't get shipped them any earlier than anyone else so theirs are flowing much the same way those ordering directly from Apple are.I hope so! Ordered the minute it went live. Space Grey 256GB 12.9 Pro. Got 11/8-11/15 shipping time frame.
I wouldn't be surprised if it's because you ordered the 1TB. Also wouldn't be surprised if it ships much sooner. I imagine they didn't produce as many because of the higher price.
12.9” Space Grey 1TB delivery date 11/26 but still processing. Hoping it will be sooner. Ordered morning orders went live on att.
It's always been that way with AT&T. Even when I used to order phones from them the dates were slightly off from Apple's. Typically they would arrive on launch day though or the day after. We'll have an update late Monday night or early Tuesday if they are on target for 11/7. This isn't quite the high volume launch of the iPhone so I'm thinking it will go smoothly.
This is a video from years ago showing how they handled the 3GS to give you an idea of how they receive the devices and then assign them to an account. It's very low tech and hands on.
I don’t remember att have online orders for cellular iPads ever being delivered on release day. It’s always been a few days later, st least as long as I’ve been ordering. And I know for certain that as long as they’ve had iPads available via Next, they were not available same day as Apple. For the release of the 10.5” it was a small wait as well.
My guess is cellular iPads are very niche compare to iPhones, so they don’t want to over order and be stuck with them.
