ive seen reported that a lot of ordered has changed form processing to getting ready to be shipped .i have checked my every other hour and my status hasn’t changed yet it still says delivery of 9-21.has anyone wiyh att status changed yet ?

Mine still says in progress. Ordered 11:59 pacific time. Don't worry, I have seen this many times and I have always gotten my phone on the date it shows.

As the Note 9 people discovered, the preparing to ship status means nothing. You're not getting your phone earlier than Friday.
I've gotten my phone from AT&T for the last 2 years the status was always saying "In Progress" for most of the week. Unlike ordering from Apple, you probably won't see a change until Thursday. But I've always gotten my phone on launch day. So don't worry too much.

My status changed to preparing to ship this past Saturday. I ordered at 2:04 am CST. I agree with others that we shouldn’t worry too much about it.

AT&T always ships my preorders via overnight delivery. My XS Max has a scheduled ship date of 9/20 for next day delivery.
