ATT - back at it!

Looks like ATT is playing spoiler! On an Apple product!

Can Apple kick them out? They did keep them exclusive for those painful years - undeservedly so!

Guess we have to be happy ATT will not lock the entire device!

I think I read on Macrumors that T-Mobile locks out the cellular if you buy it from them, not if you buy it through Apple.

T-Mobile isn't willing to help with Apple sim activation

I can't get my iPad air 2 added to my t-mobile account. When I call for support they just say "You need a t-mobile sim." They're offering to give me a t-mo sim for free, but don't seem too interested in actually supporting the Apple sim beyond a few words on Twitter.

Follow up: I was tweeting back and forth w/t-mo support who, unlike their phone tech support, acknowledged I shouldn't need a t-mobile sim and can use the Apple sim.

They fixed whatever issues were there because I tried again this morning and was able to activate cellular data and chose their "double your data" option successfully.
