The ATT website was up for several minutes allowing me to use an upgrade on my second line to complete a 6s transaction.

The thing is I accidentally ordered just a 6s. I have gotten an order number and the tabs at the top of the order confused me for a second.

I was just about to do it on the AT&T App, then it started asking me to do a credit check for an upgrade when I already have an account...

Damn.

I already cancelled the order through the email I received. I hope my cancellation clears so I can use my upgrade when the site is back up, or I will open a new line and cancel my extra line which I did the 6s on.
 
I can confirm that my upgrade was indeed immediately reinstated letting me order a 6s Plus.

Also, to note, I actually had the Apple Store App come alive and did it through that system. NEXT was available and it seems Apple and AT&T have really worked out the kinks that used to exist between their websites while accessing cellular accounts.

To date, the EASIEST online ordering experience I have had with both parties.

When people were writing that they were able to order through AT&T, I tried through my AT&T app. It already gave a shipping date of mid October! I'm glad I got through so easy with the Apple app! Easiest order ever! Just one small hiccup!
 
Estimated ship date of the 24th, with overnight shipping... we'll see if that actually happens. I'm not hopeful.

Didn't read anything about component problems this year for the 6s series and Apple has had another year to mete out supply chains and manufacturing problems that hindered the 6 last year.

3 new lines? As in, you opened a whole new account?
 
Placed order at 12:02am. It messed up with wrong storage. Cancelled order. Eligibility restored. Placed new order 6S Rose Gold 64gb. Done.

Awesome! Incredible how fast it reinstates now. I remember with the 5 and 5s a few stories of people waiting WEEKS to get their upgrade eligibility back. I was damn nervous when I realized I ordered the wrong model.

Like I said. Easiest EVER online order from the partnership between ATT and Apple since I ordered on ATT first, cancelled, then ordered on Apple.

I'd order through Apple Site, but the 2-year contract route isn't an option. Darn ATT site, no matter what option I selected, shipping wasn't until October 16th.

Good deal! Hopefully since you have opened a new account, there won't be the dreaded "sorry, your order has been cancelled" email that I believe some people received because there was a two phone limit per account.

Can someone verify the cancellations in the past?

Do you mean you can't login to your account or you ordered and can't retrieve the order info?
