So I preordered a silver 256 that has a ship date of 11/2-11/10.
I stopped by ATT for the heck of it today at 1230pm. To my surprise, they had space gray 64’s in stock. I preferred the space gray and looked at my phones storage to see if 64 was practical. I only used 30 in the year I’ve had it so I figured I’ll just grab this one and cancel the preorder since it is still in “processing” phase.
They could NOT cancel my order due to the contract renewal when I preordered. How does the contract even start before I have the phone that renewed it? Lol. I thought this was a no brainer and easy to do. I could hit the cancel button from my phone right now, why can’t they.
I think I’m done with the next program and will start buying phones in full and switching at my leisure. Being on a business account through them has its own hurdles to preordering, let alone their inability to cancel an order that has even shipped.
