attaching a photo..please help

I just tried to attach a photo to a yahoo email using the compose feature in yahoo.

When I clicked on attach..my mac hd came up,then I could see " iphoto library" but couldn't click on it...it wasn't highlighted.

Finally dragged the photo from iphoto to the desktop and then could attach it from the desktop to my yahoo email.

How is this done in a better way..like directly from iphoto or something?

do you have Leopard? theres a media browser now in the open window. click photos under media and its essentially all your photos in iPhoto with events, albums etc.

if youve got Tiger or before i assume you could just drag and drop the photo into the browse box in Yahoo. if you set up your email in Mail you can just click the email button in iPhoto and it automatically attaches it to a new compose window.
