I'm trying to send some pics to my sister in law but i do not want the pic to be in the mail message. i simply want the file to show up.

I knwo i read about this somewhere but for the life of me cannot find the thread (i searched 11 pages on this grouping).

Please help. I have switched to plain text and it still keeps the pic inbedded in the mail message.

I know it's not the answer you're looking for - I've forgotten too!! - but why not put the pic/s in a folder and attach that? I've just tried it and it works :)

The settings in your sister in law's email client will determine if the pics are displayed inline or as attachments. Apple Mail always displays them inline.
