Hi Guys.

Im new to mac so im hoping someone can help me with this issue.

I've recently been getting this error when trying to access some sites with https:

happens with facebook,twitter,paypal,ebay etc

Im getting the following error:

Attachers might be trying to steal your information from twitter.com (for example passwords, messages or credit cards) NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID

I have been looking online and it seems its common issue however they keep refering back to the clock. My clock is set correctly so if someone can help I would really appreciate it.

Its happening on Safari and Chrome browser.

Also I have tried a different wifi connection on the mac and still same issue.

thanks

Danny

Try a different computer. If the problem does not follow, then go bak to your mac flush your DNS cashe and your browsing history.

Hi thanks for the quick reply.

I have a laptop and iPad and all works fine.

I have cleared history still didn't work however i just found the issue. I went to something called 'Keychain' and cleared the certificates section and that seems to have fixed the issue.

Appreciate your help with this. Was unable to access any sites for over a week.

Cheers again :)

Danny
