Hey guys,

just got my iP X some days ago. Most of the time I use the phone in silent mode, just vibration. If I have the phone in my pocket the vibration is normal (strong). If I pick up the device or put it out of my pocket, the vibration gets weaker and also the ringtone is lowering.

Is the lowering of the Standard Vibration also part of this Attention Aware feature from Face ID ?

Thanks.

I know Attention Aware lowers the volume on the ringer but did not know that it changed the vibrate. I never use vibrate but it does not surprise me.

Ok, because I was also a bit confused that the Phone lowered the Vibration after you look at it.

The vibration only lowers if I use the synchronised (Standard) vibration.

That makes sense as the ringtone volume goes down the vibration goes down as well. The device knows you’re already aware of the notification, no point in going crazy with either ringtone volume or vibration.
