Alright, so first off I've never had any issues with upgrading iTunes and having the program Max work with it for importing audio into it. However, all that has changed from going from iTunes 8.0.2 to 8.1.

When I upgraded to iTunes 8.1, Max wouldn't work correctly with it and constantly would keep having permissions errors after importing each song into it. Luckily, I had backed up with SuperDuper before installing 8.1 so I was able to revert the whole system back to 8.0.2.

So, long story short and a warning to all, if you're using Max and iTunes, stay the hell away from 8.1 if you want the two programs to work correctly.

First bad iTunes upgrade I've ever had that caused problems with importing audio into from Max.

I haven't encountered any problems between the 2 (yet), I'm still using them as usual.
