Apps ATV 3 Music app disappeared!

I noticed this evening that the Music app on my ATV 3 (UK) has disappeared, is this the same for everyone?
I know I can just AirPlay from my phone but will be a shame if it has gone for good as I do use it now and then for my purchased tracks and Albums.
I suppose this maybe Apples way of forcing a possible upgrade to ATV 4.

What music app? Apple music have never been on ATV3

@ Lappen71 never mentioned Apple Music, but the standard onboard Music App/Tab or whatever you want to call it is no longer available.

That´s why i asked what music app you talked about.

Apple has not deleted it if you thought that. Maybe you by mistake set it to hide in the settings.

You can't hide the top tabs, but strangely this evening I've found that Music has come back but Movies has now disappeared .

I noticed it too yesterday around midnight. I also thought it was a way to make us upgrade. Maybe I'm paranoid.

So it's an error and it just comes back?

I presume the app was removed in error and that it will be brought back. I know you can Airplay from your iOS devices, but being able to access your music you downloaded via the app on the ATV would be nice.

I'll have to check our ATV3 that we have in the bedroom to see if the music app is missing. We usually don't access the app anyway since my girlfriend and I just use it watch Netflix and Hulu anyway.

Yeah have mine reappeared, all seems fine at the moment.

As a follow up, the music app is still on our ATV3. However, the iTunes Radio app has been removed. This makes sense since the radio feature is now only for Apple Music subscribers anyway.

Yeah. Mine magically appeared again 2 nights ago.
