ATV 4K, OS 14.7 and audio extractor problem

ATV 4K 1 gen, which worked perfectly with audio extractor sending HDMI to PJ JVC and audio 5.1 to Parasound processor via optic, stopped working after upgrade to OS 14.7. ATV 4K 2001, purchased a week ago doesn't work with this extractor too. ATV 3 works with this extractor just fine. So it's latest OS breaks connectivity with normally working audio extractor. Very unlikely, that Apple or extractor manufacturer will pay any attention on this issue, so I'm looking for another audio extractor, which still works. If anyone has ATV4K with OS 14.7 or even 15 working OK with extractor, please name the brand and model of extractor. And another question - I'm using as temporary solution transmitting sound from ATV4 via AirPlay to ATV3 from which via optic to audio processor. But I get only stereo. AT4 is set to output DD5.1 to ATV3. Is Airplay capable of only stereo? Shoudn't. Please advice.

For audio extraction to TOSLINK (optical) your aTV must be set to either Stereo or Dolby Digital 5.1 output.
Normally, aTV will output only PCM 5.1 or 7.1 to HDMI and that can not be extracted into optical.

Right. ATV 4K is set exactly to DD5.1 output.
