my ATV4's auto updated during the night and rebooted.

Now when I visit any TV shows the are being offered to my from my home sharing iTunes server the TV episode ordering is fine, but the season ordering is screwed up.

For example, before the ATV 9.2 update

Star Trek The Next Generation
|
--> Season 1
|
-------> Episode 1
-------> Episode 2
-------> Episode 3
etc

Season 2
|
-------> Episode 1
-------> Episode 2
-------> Episode 3

Season 3
|
-------> Episode 1
-------> Episode 2
-------> Episode 3

and so on.
Now after the ATV 9.2 update it looks like this

Star Trek The Next Generation
|
--> Season 3
|
-------> Episode 1
-------> Episode 2
-------> Episode 3
etc

Season 7
|
-------> Episode 1
-------> Episode 2
-------> Episode 3

Season 4
|
-------> Episode 1
-------> Episode 2
-------> Episode 3

Season 2
|
-------> Episode 1
-------> Episode 2
-------> Episode 3

Season 1
|
-------> Episode 1
-------> Episode 2
-------> Episode 3

Season 6
|
-------> Episode 1
-------> Episode 2
-------> Episode 3

etc etc

and it's like this with all TV shows that are on the iTunes home sharing server.

No MetaData has changed on the iTunes server, and if I view them on an old ATV 3 box, the ordering is correct.

Anyone else got this or know what's going on ?

I have noticed this too. I don't watch too many TV programmes, but do stream a ton of music (studio and live), which has keyed me into the potential problem...

Album titles for live music follow the format - YYYY.MM.DD - Venue: City, State

I also make the Release Date the year of the concert.

My studio albums also have the Release Year filled in with the original release date, though if I have a remastered version as well, then the year of the remaster is in the Release Year field.

Before the latest update, if I went to listen to a band then the list of albums would sort A to Z and then the Numbers. This was ideal since the concerts were all at the end of the list running from earliest to latest.

Now...the list is sorted by Release Year...then A to Z and the Numbers...from the bottom to the top. Ugh!!!

Very frustrating for all the bands where I have a ton of live music, not so much for those with only a few albums.

Also, this is likely an Apple TV issue and not Homesharing since my iTunes Match streams through the Music app are also affected.

Go to Apple bug report and complain.
