ATV connection issues (DFU/iTunes/jailbreaking)

I'm trying to JB my ATV2.

I've extracted the seasonpass ipsw, and it has asked me to connect the ATV. I've done that with a microUSB (without having the power plugged to it) and it's not even showing up in iTunes as a device/ATV. However the light is flashing on the ATV, it's just not showing up/being recognised.

I also can't get into DFU mode by pressing play/menu buttons for 7 seconds.

Any help?!
