Hope someone here can help, as I've tried ever combination of rebooting, rebuilding, etc., I can think of.
My ATV has periodically been disappearing from iTunes and now is permanently awol. I stream all my content from a Mac Pro and use a Time Capsule. I have no firewall at all. Snow Leopard and the latest iTunes are running.
I can get the ATV to show up on any of the several Mac laptops running in the house, but can't get the Mac Pro to see it under any circumstance. I have tried just about every sequence of restarting and rebooting I can think of, to no avail.
Any advice would be appreciated. The whole point of the device was to simplify the dvd process, but now it's turning into a frustrating full-time job!
