ATV Stalls On Purchase

hey guys

so ive had my atv for a few months..no probs

bought a tv show like 3-4 days ago no prob

but for the last two days..everytime i make a purchase or rental..the screen just goes to the "Accessing iTunes Store" screen with the loading circle..sits here ..and nothing happens...

any ideas?

it just suddenly started...this is obviously only on my atv..i can do it manually on my desktop but you cant rent HD from ur desktop which sucks

First try to unplug it and plug it back in. Like any gadget, the Apple TV likes to be powercycled sometimes.

Actually I'm experiencing this right now, but on my MacBook Pro. Maybe the store is broken.

ya ..did a 10 minute power cycle..everything started working after that

My TV has a tendency to do this as well. I usually have to restart the system once every 2-3 weeks. I use the remote shortcut (Menu + Down, I think) to reboot it. I also have problems with movies showing white screens while I can still hear the dialog, and just reboot to resolve that as well.
