When I choose my HomePods as a stereo pair on the 4K Apple TV (first 4k), the video is always a little out of sync. Without being nit-picky, this issue is obvious and impossible to ever-look. Has anybody had this issue too? What did you do about it?
Thanks

I've set my TV to game mode and altered the colour to match the other settings. This has reduced the audio sync issues and it's pretty much perfect for me now, even with the wireless audio sync function.

But....game mode picture settings suck for movie/TV show watching.
Not if you match the colour settings of the other settings, and with match frame rate on it's fine. I'm only trying to help the OP with his issue with a solution that has worked for me and others. Got any ideas?

Can’t speak to the game mode work around but since the latest 14.5 update wireless audio sync actually made the latency/sync terrible with my 8 homepods. Had to turn it off for the time being. A bit better but not perfect.

Pre 14.5 with wireless sync calibrated audio was perfect with video on multiple speakers in addition to my receiver and there was absolutely no echo when playing music. Sadly not the case anymore.
