Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A405 Safari/7534.48.3) I finally bought an ATV 2 last night and love the easy set up. One disappointment (my own fault for not checking, I accept) is that the Ethernet is apparently only for connecting the device to the network. It cannot be used to connect an Internet-enabled TV/PVR etc to the network using the ATV as a hub. Since I like using BBC iPlayer on my TV, I'm going to have to move my router back next to my TV if I can. Any thoughts/advice on how this should be done? Should I connect ATV to the router by Ethernet or can it remain on wifi? Will there be any risk of interference etc if I use wifi and have the ATV and router about a metre apart? I guess I now need to think about ripping my DVDS etc.
