atv2 remote question

Can the Atv2 have more than one iphone with the remote app controlling it? I tried to have the Atv2 sync with another family members iphone but I couldn't get the Atv2 to recognize it. Still new to the Atv here. :apple:
 
Yes. Just go to the add remote part of the Remote app and the add remote part of the Apple TV and enter the four digits.
