ATV3 can't stream chinese iTunes movies

Hey guys, anyone run into this problem? Living in China now and I purchased movies off the Chinese iTunes store but I'm unable to stream it to the ATV. It gives this msg: "Unionpay is not supported on this version of OS X" and it tells me to upgrade but there are none. Can't seem to find any answers, any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I am assuming you are logged in with a China Apple ID on your Apple TV? I ask because you stated: "... I am living in China now...."

Yep, I am.

Well, after chatting with several support staff, it seems like the answer is that the ATV 3 just doesn't union pay, may need the upgrade to ATV 4 for that. If anyone else is able to stream their movies purchased on the Chinese iTunes store to their ATV3, pls let me know, thanks.

Yes, that is very unfortunate. I hope they restore that soon (fingers crossed).
