Hi All,

I have an ATV3 that I recently updated firmware version 7.2. Since updating to version 7.2 I am experience Netflix drops outs. While watching a Netflix program suddenly the screen will black out and the I return to app menu. This can happen as much as a 2 or 3 times per evening.

I have attempted resetting the router and the ATV3. None of these actions have helped. Is anyone else experiencing these problems? Have you done anything to resolve?

I have the exact same problem and it's a real pain! I haven't found or heard of a way to correct it yet. Hopefully they will fix this issue soon.
 
I have seen the same type of problem. Sometimes it will go black and jump to the home screen like you said and other times it will go black and then act like it is trying to get back into netflix by displaying the accessing netflix message with a loading symbol.
 
Last time I had issues netflix rep told me to unplug the apple TVs power cord, wait a minute and then reconnect it.
 
Since upgrading to latest firmware I have lost my watch list and recently watched on Netflix. Picture seems ok.

Same here. Thought I was the only one with this problem. I'm able to get it back by putting the Apple TV to sleep and waking it up again but I'm not sure if that's a permanent solution. Still, I'd rather have this than what PlayStation owners have to go through every time hackers paralyze the PlayStation Network.
 
Mine does the same! We were binge watching Friday Night Lights while in the hospital waiting to deliver our baby girl and had to restart the netflix app about every other show. Almost got through a whole season...
 
Been having this issue too. Seems to do it about every 1.5 episodes. Almost like clock work. show goes black and it drops back to the previous episode's description.
 
Same here. Will look into opening a ticket with Apple tonight. Drove me mad this weekend. Might have to start using another device to watch Netflix on in the mean-time
