So i have two Apple TV gen3's. Both wired into my lan network. Both with static IP addresses and most importantly i am able to ping both Apple TV's from a ping app, from my iPhone XS. So i know the basic network commuincation is there However i can't do any screen mirroring or airplay to either. They were both working off my old X prior to moving to the XS. Both restarted. I am able to airplay to my Yamaha receiver though. So airplay is working off the phone.

Hoping its just a bug in iOS12 that'll be fixed. Anyone else noticed this ?

Sounds like Bonjour problem then.
Check with Bonjour browser if the service gets properly advertised.

Thanks i'll give that a try this evening when i get home. Hopefully its something as simple as that. I was assuming the ATV3 was trying to connect to my old X rather than my new XS
