ATV4 Remote not sleeping

My ATV4 remote stopped allowing me to bring up the sleep option by holding the menu button recently. Has anyone else had this issue? I tried charging the remote but to no avail, I have to go to the settings menu to sleep it every time now.

you want to press the home button (with the TV on it) not the menu button.

Oops, that was a typo I am holding the home button and it doesnt work.

what screen are you on when you try it?

Have you tried a reboot of the aTV?
sometimes mine just gets a bit weird and doesn't respond right, that normally sets it right.

I've tried from in apps and the home screen and nothing is working. I also tried rebooting and had the same problem, maybe ill try again. Thanks for the help
