If I set my remote down for an extended period of time, then pick it up and try to use it, it seems like nothing is happing. Then after a little bit it connects, then all the button presses I tried happen and results are usually way off from what I wanted.

Anybody else experiencing this?

Yes, went to mine today which was asleep and had nothing but a blue screen. Clicked the trackpad and it woke up, even then it seemed a little slow and stuttery. Guess like most of us, after a long sleep it needs a jolt of coffee.

After testing a little more, seems quicker to wake up if I hit one of the buttons first, if I use the trackpad, I get mixed results as it interprets taps and swipes incorrectly if it's not awake.
