I have linked 2 Homepods to my ATV4 it will turn off both TV and Entertainment Room when asked but when I ask it to turn tv on it will only turn on the entertainment room of the ATV4, not the Samsung tv I have. Being new to this can someone please tell me what else I need to control the TV and ATV4 with my Homepods to switch on and off automatically.

You can make a Shortcut. In this Shortcut all I have to say is, “Hey Siri, Rise and Shine.” She executes every action. I don’t normally have her wake the Living Room tv. I just added that so you can see that it’s possible. This is four of you want to turn them both in at she same time.

If you want to do it separately you need to explicitly say, “Hey Siri, turn on <Name of tv>.”

You can make it with the Shortcuts app. The actions are built into it. Open the app go to Gallery, scroll down to Quick Shortcuts. It’s the second one. It’s blue. You will need to configure it for the tv you want to wake by tapping on Apple TV.
