120GB (2nd) Drive, Upgraded to 64GB SSD: Worked!

It couldn't have been easier! So much better than when I upgraded the 40GB to a 120GB! I'm hoping the SSD will run a lot cooler.

Shouldn't copying the Media partition files from the old drive to the new drive work?

Did you ever try this. I know this is a very old thread. Just wondering. I am in the middle of transferring over to a 1TB SSD.

My recollection is that iTunes gives each media file an ambiguous filename that makes it almost impossible to ID them without opening each file.
