We're having an auction to sell our stuff b/c we're moving...

and my dad hired this local guy to do the auction. His website is really bad. But he said and he did have the pictures up in a couple of days.

But when my dad and I went to check the site, you couldn't click on anything. In Firefox, Camino or even Safari.

I just checked the source code and it turns out that's he's using VML to format his boxes???

And since, at least I think so, don't do VML, at least all of mine don't, the links are beign rendered. I would link to the site, but he's a local guy and I don't want to get in a fight.

Should we ask for some of our money back due to no publicity?

You're not obligated to pay him if he doesn't do what he agreed to, that is effectively promote your auction to increase the amount of money you're able to bring in and help you sell your stuff. Obviously there's a tactful way to approach him about the problem. That's the hard part.
