I went out and bought 5.1 channel surround sound speakers a while ago, back when I did things and thought later. They came with 3 inputs for full surround sound, my Macbook Pro only has one input (optical input, I think.)

Are there any adapters that could I could plug the speakers in? Failing that, are there any ExpressCard sound cards that take 3 inputs?

I'm having trouble visualizing what 3 it could have - either it's discrete, which would be 6 (5+1), or it would be optical/coaxial for SPDIF digital. The Mac has digital available through TOSLINK optical (it needs the 3.5" adapter).

It's 5 + 1.

1. Looking for a 3 discrete input to TOSLINK adapter, if that exists.

2. Any word on Express Card sound cards?
