I could have sworn that Siri use to respond to "Hey Siri, add broccoli to shopping list" with "Okay, added broccoli to shopping list"... however, she's now just saying "Okay, done!"

Am I imagining things? Or am I getting Siri confused with Alexa? Did I disable something? Audio feedback would be great as I just got HomePods and don't always have a screen nearby when I'm adding items to my shopping list.

so it's a common problem? I used Alexa to manage my shopping list prior to a HomePod because of ease of use (I can just shout out a command as I think of an item). However without audio feedback, I'm constantly worried that Siri heard me wrong

When I ask her to add stuff to the grocery list, she will reply with “Done” or repeat back what I asked her to add. The two confirming responses seem to be random, but she seldom gets the item wrong.

I stopped worrying about it. She rarely gets it wrong.

This is my experience too.

Unfortunately she gets it wrong more than occasionally on my end. Would be nice to have consistent verbal confirmation.
