Audio Map flipped

Having a weird issue that I can't figure out the fix for:

Setup:
Mac Mini 2018 > Onkyo 7.1 Receiver
Intel UHD Graphics 630

Playing any 5.1 (or more) file through VLC and Quicktime flips the speaker map (anything designated for the center channel comes out of two rear center speakers, etc). The MIDI setup is set for 8 ch 24-bit 48 kHz and I tested the Speaker Configuration to verify the assignments are spatially correct.

Anyone have any ideas?
