Anyone know how to make the new Homepod Mini play audio through ATV4k properly? I can not get the audio to sync. But my Tablo plays perfect. I should note, within the Tablo app, I can flick the remote up and select the Homepod mini but I can not figure out how in the YTTV app so I end up switching to the Tablo app, flicking to the Homepod Mini, the switch back. But, like I stated, the audio is way out of sync.

I have a similar problem but I’m using an original HomePod. My audio is out of sync with the video when using apps like YouTube or ABC/NBC but perfect for any purchase Apple content as well as Disney+

Same issue here, ran Wireless Audio Sync, and YouTube TV works for a while, then a few minutes into the program it’s off by over a second

It's unwatchable for me at this point. Luckily Apple TV plus and Disney plus works fine but I have to switch to my sound bar if I want to use any other app while using AppleTV 4K.

Thank you for this post/feedback! A while ago I went with a Bose system ($1500) and tried all of the tweaks I could not get the audio to synchronize to the picture.. I'm back to using a pair of computer speakers attached to the 3.5mm jack, doesn't sound the best but it has little to no delay.

I was considering going with dual Homepods but these also have the same issue for YouTube/other apps that is concerning.

If anyone ever comes out with a sound bar/system that can properly sync audio/video for all of the devices in 4k HDR/Dolby vision in an entertainment system they will be very successful.

I bought my first soundbar (Bose solo 5) last year and had a similar problem-tv sound and for AppleTV when using it via Bluetooth. As soon as I used the optical cable the problem went away. Unfortunately there’s no way to hardwire the HomePod.

This works but you are usually limited to PCM / Stereo out (on my TV anyway). The nice thing about the home pods is you get Atmos support and the TV stays out of the way but if there are A/V sync issues on YouTube and other apps, arg!
