Hi,

I want to beable to use my external speaker system via the 3.5mm output jack on my imac intel 2 duo. but i still want my internal speaker to put out sound. Is there some app? that is intel compatible that lets me use the internal and external audio at the same time?

I think this may be done on a hardware level. Besides, using both sets of speakers might worsen the sound quality unless they're carefully positioned.

hmm your probably right bout that... but i would still want to beable to use internal and external speaker at te same time. is there a program for intel macs that i can use to for example stream all itunes music playing to my external speakers and the other ''computer sounds'' to my internal speakers?

You can do this with Leopard. Just set Sound Effects>Play alerts and sound effects through: to Internal Speakers and Output to Line (or Digital) Out.
