Minor annoyance, but was wondering if there’s a way to disable the “audio playing” from appearing on my screen while playing/casting music from my phone (Spotify) ... ?

Only seems to appear when I’m playing Spotify ... doesn’t appear when I’m playing/casting Pandora

I have this same issue when playing podcasts. I don’t need that screen to be on when I’m playing audio and is annoying to have to back out of it when I need to see a notification, etc.

Well it doesn’t make any sense to me. It’s a status icon that’s telling me that music is playing on my Apple Watch. But it’s NOT playing on my Apple Watch, it’s being cast from the Spotify app on my iPhone to my Google Home speaker! My watch isn’t even a part of the equation. I mean, I know the watch is connected to the phone, but I’m not playing music on my watch.

And I don’t even have Spotify installed on my watch! It’s there as an “available” app to install, but I haven’t installed it.

Frustrating ...

Would appreciate anyone that else that can chime in and possibly demystify this?
